24. Showy white flowers with a fragrant odor. The 4 petals 1/2--1 in. long and egg shaped. June--August
Leaves with edges even to shallow toothed or lobed less than half way to the midrib.
Plants with nodding buds; stem with a white covering that peels off. 4--16 in. Sand dunes and sandhills.
